SINGs: Spirituality in Nature Gatherings
SINGs invite individuals and communities into an active, intimate, and loving relationship with the Earth. They offer opportunities to encounter nature — and the Divine Mystery revealed through it — with openness, intention, and reverence. In doing so, they ground and inspire the ongoing work of social and ecological advocacy.
While many in our community engage with the climate crisis intellectually, SINGs create space to connect with this work emotionally and spiritually. They nurture compassion, resilience, and a deeper sense of belonging to the living world.
For those seeking to respond faithfully to the climate crisis and to build understanding across differences of faith, culture, and experience, SINGs act as bridges — cultivating empathy, dialogue, and shared purpose. They provide a vital space to hold both the fears and hopes of this important work, offering rest, renewal, and strength for the collective journey of social and ecological transformation.
